Is looking for a west side lunch buddy!

I think it’s going to be good getting to know my group(ies). They seem like fun people. Sigh, this is gonna be a lil bit of a rush but hey, I’d probably never get any work done without pressure.

Arthas: Rise of the (Emobitch)Lich King was a dissappointment really. If you’ve played through the wc3 campaigns just give this book a miss coz it really doesn’t add much. It is basically a recount of the human and undead campaigns from Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne.
Honestly, I think if she(Christie Golden) had written the scene of Arthas’ confrontation with Tirion at Light’s Hope Chapel and Shadow Vault(?), it would have shown just how unredemable he was, more so than his descent(or ascension, depending on how you look at it).
That said, if you are a WoW lore buff and haven’t played any of the RTS you should pick up this book for an idea of how he came to be one of the most powerful entities on Azeroth.
Arthas was my favored character, his slow descent into evil - guided by the manipulations of Ner’zhul. Up to the point where he picks up frostmourne, you could even justify his actions as the lesser evils of the choices laid before him.
Sigh. This book does not do his character justice. But it does show more about his relationship with his people and Jaina Proudmore. Damn romance to hell, this is Watcraft!!
That said, watch the intro Cinematic of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King. This is the true Arthas.
